Is Saath Village already operating?
No. This is a concept-stage initiative. Land, registration, funding, approvals, staffing, and an opening date are not confirmed.
Can I book a home or pay a contribution now?
No. We are not accepting bookings, Patron contributions, or other payments through this website. The present invitation is to join the conversation.
Would I own the property?
Under the proposed model, no. The organisation would own the property and a Resident Patron would hold personal lifetime occupancy under a final agreement.
Would my contribution be refunded if I leave?
The founder proposes a no-refund contribution once a final agreement takes effect. This is not yet an operative policy or payment offer. Its legal validity, disclosure, exceptions, and safeguards must be reviewed before anyone pays.
How is a home reassigned after a member’s passing?
The proposal is to return it to the community for reallocation. Rules protecting joint residents and surviving spouses or partners still need to be developed.
Will living costs be negligible?
That is an aspiration to reduce financial pressure, not a promise. A sustainable budget must cover essential services, maintenance, reserves, and rising care needs. Neither the contribution nor recurring charges have been set.
Where will the community be located?
A location has not been selected or confirmed. We will seek preferences and assess access to healthcare, transport, land suitability, cost, and approvals.
Who can express interest?
Adults exploring retirement options for themselves or family, as well as volunteers, professionals, and supporters. Final resident eligibility, admission age, and care-related criteria remain to be decided. Please submit your own contact details.
Does joining the Founding Circle guarantee admission?
No. It is a non-binding opportunity to contribute ideas. It does not grant membership, residency, priority, voting rights, or a position in a formal queue.
Must residents work or volunteer?
No. Work, mentoring, and social participation are intended to be voluntary. Residents’ privacy, preferences, and capabilities should be respected.
What if I need more care later?
Care capacity, emergency arrangements, additional costs, and transitions to more specialised services require detailed planning. The project cannot yet guarantee any level of ongoing care.
Can the community’s assets be privately divided later?
The intent is to protect assets for a continuing nonprofit purpose, not private distribution. The final documents must address applicable law, liabilities, and any required regulatory or court directions.
