Saath Village · The journey continues

A community built around belonging

Saath means together. The idea behind Saath Village is simple: retirement should leave room for independence, friendship, and a life that still feels your own.

Changing family structures, work across cities and countries, bereavement, personal choice, or difficult family circumstances can lead people to live separately. Choosing a supportive community need not mean rejecting one’s family — it can be a positive choice for everyone.

The journey continues, differently.

Retirement does not erase a person’s knowledge, curiosity, relationships, or ability to contribute. We imagine a place where people can enjoy privacy, build friendships, receive appropriate support, and choose how they spend their time.

What we stand for

Who is initiating the conversation?

Kumar S Ratan — Law Graduate / Activist is proposing Saath Village as a community-first retirement initiative. The first step is to listen to interested people and shape a workable, accountable model together.

Saath Village is currently a proposed initiative, not a confirmed operational retirement facility or a representation of an already registered NGO. The final organisational structure and governing team remain to be established.
